E18/E39 Gartnerløkka–Kolsdalen is a construction project that has the planning project E39 Gartnerløkka–Breimyr and the zoning plan for E39 Gartnerløkka–Meieriet as the basis for the construction.
Todays road has an annual round-the-clock traffic of approximately 40,000 vehicles. There are problems with delays during rush hour for traffic both to and from the ferries and for traffic on the continuous E18/E39. There are also problems with increased traffic in the city streets.
