Ramboll is carrying out a project for DONG Energy in the German part of the North Sea, 38km north of the Isle of Borkum.
Ramboll will perform the detailed design of 20 suction bucket jackets supporting Vestas 8MW wind turbines to be installed at the Borkum Riffgrund 2 site with a water depth of 29m. The project is a direct continuation of the detailed design of the proto-type suction bucket jacket which was installed August 2014 at the Borkum Riffgrund 1 site and the FEED study of the suction bucket concept for the Borkum Riffgrund 2 site.
